Drop in a little dollop of your favorite shaving cream, and get mixing. The Fine Accoutrements Lather Bowl is designed to produce the best lather with its ridged design, allowing you to aerate your soap before applying the creamy lather to your face. The Fine Accoutrements Lather Bowl is made from stoneware, and the handle of the bowl allows you to store your shaving brush while you shave, keeping your countertop clean and soap free.

Before you can shave, you need to have shaving cream on your face, and the best way to do this is with a shaving bowl, shaving cream, and a good shaving brush.
The first step is to rinse your brush under water, soaking all of the fibers, and once all of the bristles have become wet, remove the excess water with your fingers, making sure that the brush is not soaking, but damp.
The next step is to load the brush with cream, hold the brush upright, bristles facing the ceiling and drop a little dollop of cream into the center. Now that you have applied the cream you can begin to mix the cream into the bowl building up a lather which you can then apply to your face to enable you to have an irritation free shave.
It's not hard, you get the idea. If you can make cake mix, you can make a good shaving cream lather.
